Golden Teak

It's been a really long time since I've blogged seriously. And just because I said that, it doesn't mean I am going to blog seriously now...I just tend to say things which are obvious but not necessarily act on them.

Anyway, semester 2 exams have been so...different. I've been going out a lot compared to other exam periods and studying is terribly slipshod (I'm starting to get worried for management!!!). But my papers have been alright so far, I've got one more tomorrow and another on the 25th and it's done and overrrr.

I need to go out to someone's party. Is partying bad? Some people are really judgemental on those who enjoy partying but I don't really see what's so bad about it. I agree that there are the most negative aspects of it such as, excessive drinking and...erm..weird sexual stuff going on. But isn't it too much to have the stereotype that people who like going out like it because they want to get smashed and get picked up etc. I just don't see the logic behind it. It's just like sports, nobody stereotypes that all sports people are crazily competitive and will do anything and everything to win, even though there are certain sportsmen who are like that. Some even being their on field competitiveness and apply it to their lives and it's just such an undesirable trait. Who wants to hang out with someone who thinks that winning is always everything, and that life is all about getting on top of everyone? Anyway.....as I was saying, I personally don't find partying bad but it really depends on what you do and what you go there for. Oh well, maybe this isn't making sense...but I just wanted to say that jumping to conclusions is really not a nice thing.

Life's like that, maybe clubs should be called discos again..it just sounds more friendly that way. (lame)

10.40, gotta go to work sooon. Hopefully I won't meet anymore 'square ladies'. But Dani will be there today so it'll be a good shift.
