This Is Not Your Year

Uni life is rather intimidating I must say. You walk into lecture theatres and face all these people from different backgrounds and cultures, you know just about..no one, and suddenly you're responsible for sourcing all your notes online and looking out for emails about change in lecture locations and updates in readings.

I'm depressed.

Nah, not really. H2H is ridiculously too full on the whole historical war thing.. renaissance period, romance period etc. Call me an airhead, but honestly, I have no idea what those periods are, I mean....you could picture gladiator sandal sporting young men riding chariots, and erm, women in floaty gowns....but the knowledge goes about as far as that.

I've also absolutely never ever heard of War and Peace, which to quote the lecturer, is undoubtedly the most classic/celebrated/renowned/amazing representation/book/novel on modern war. Well, so it wasn't exactly a quote, but you know what I mean. Have you heard of war and peace?

It's not just war and peace, it's just about every other book that was on the list, Mother Courage, The Iliad, Saving Private Ryan etc. I'm considering changing from H2H to Knowing Nature. THEN! There'll be more changes to my timetable....as if my timetable isn't messy enough already. You know, in an attempt to be ORGANISED, I copied my timetable into my student diary....it's only the FIRST day and the page is already filled with scratch outs. Cutting to the chase, it's VERY MESSY and I can barely read my wednesday and thursday schedules. If I change subjects, I'll also start at 9 on wednesday.....BUT brilliant me thought the earliest time I'll be starting is 10, so I filled 10 in the first line under "time".

If you didn't understand the above, what I meant to say was that...my organisational skills are terrible when it comes to writing my own timetables. Random note, I remember Caleb Wong used to be really good at creating those fanciful timetables on MSword (LOL!).

That was just about IDF anyway, which is some compulsory subject if you haven't figured by now. Criminology sounds like stacks(LOL I just suddenly thought of Dom that's why I used that..erm, cos he's doing crim too) of fun though. I was so inspired after Crim lecture, as compared to seeing stars, not in a good way, after H2H lecture.

I only have one lecture tomorrow! Plus there's a Flare meeting tomorrow, it's a joke that I'm in there....seriously, but whatever.

If you want to know, I bought my crim reader today, and just spent some mind boggling moments trying to figure out how to download lecture notes for psych. =S (i'm not very good with virtual faces)
