It's a hot day with the bored club aka the relos

My life is extremely relaxed but it's getting boring.

Headed down to Glen to hand in resume, and then dropped by my cuzzies at Syndal. It was burning hot, I swear I have a mild sunburn now.

Started on a new book on the train - Murder by Family, it's a pretty good book I suppose, I'm no critic or by any means a good reviewer, but the book's not boring and it kind of helps me to see the faith of a Christian put to test. At least I've read 88 pages now. I know, what an auspicious number. Quote from the book, "Faith is not a feeling but a conscious act of will. You have to choose to trust and believe, especially when circumstances and your feelings are screaming that you can't trust God. " I haven't finished the book, but the main story is about a family whose murder was orchestrated by one of the members, the son. So the writer wrote a bit about King David and his son Absalom as well.

The scene at my cuz's was this,

three of us, Jacqui T and myself, seated round the table taking turns to talk about how bored we were. Jayden was watching Disney Playhouse somewhere.

Still, it was a really good time. Played games like Guitar Hero and Sorts.

SORTS. Geez, either kids these days are getting smarter or people like me are just not as smart. I believe in the former. That game gave me a headache after awhile.....I mean how the heck am I supposed to know how many gingerbread men there were in Shrek. Ok that was random, how about...well! Do you know how many bones are there in the human head?! Or how many legs a lobster has??? But it was pretty educational I suppose, I now know you have 3000 tastebuds on your tongue. TAKE THAT!

I like hanging out with my relos, maybe I should go and live there. Somehow it feels like a different world...well, the grass is always greener on the other side they say. We did all these typical family-ish stuff like watching tv and grilling bananas with chocolate. Brings me back to my childhood just that the stuff we did wasn't exactly grilling bananas, or playing guitar hero...it was more, old school, hide and seek yada yada. Makes me wish I had more siblings, but it's probably also because Jayden's still a baby(7 years old) and Jacqui's pre teen. It'll change when they grow up. T and I will be ancient by the time they get to our age.

Missed the 830 train back to city and waited half an hour for the next train. Got bitten by mozzies and yuck, hate waiting for trains.

You can just see the sunshine bursting out of the picture, radiating, whatever. I know I know, SHUT UP ABOUT THE WEATHER.

Devastated when I missed the 830 train. I saw it coming actually...could've made a mad dash for it but somehow a Sasha mindset came over me and I thought to myself "SIGH I probably can't make it anyway, why bother trying" LOL.

Should sleep now, gotta wake up early and meet Dom tomorrow! How exciting I haven't seen him in ages and ages!

love, 23:58
