Far away....this ship is taking me far away

Well this morning I awoke with a rude start. Yes, I had what they would call a nightmare. In my dream, my hair was somehow reduced to short bob pictured above. Yeah, it isn't that bad looking I know just I don't quite have the hair or the face to pull it off. Not mentioning the fact that I've been trying to grow my hair long since forever.

So, you can tell my morning didn't start off too good. Got a text from my dad asking me to buy rice barely moments after my eyes opened. I know, how exciting my life is, Aiwee went and bought some rice. If I led the lifestyle of the rich and famous I would have gone out and bought some Christian Louboutin shoes decked in the Alexander Wang dress which was all I wanted for Christmas, maybe a chi hua hua in my purse ala Paris style. Well a girl can dream. And really, I'm not such an airhead. I would never be caught dead with a dog in my armpits.

Well dream AW dress aside, what I really wore was my PJs...invited some weird stares from the church going crowd. Speaking of church, I haven't been for ages. Searched high and low for fray glue/seam sealant/fabric glue(???!!!) but to no avail. At this rate, I'm never getting round to completing that DIY project on Pleasure Principles spine tshirt!!!!

Anyway I had planned to spend my sunday afternoon leisurely browsing Spring 09 collections, yes I plan my sunday afternoons I am so cool, and also I am aware Spring 09 has happened ages ago, so what?! My plans never materialised. Instead, I spent my sunday afternoon standing over a stove of boiling sago. Honestly, I should be given the title Queen of Sago, or maybe...Goddess of the tapoica pearls. Whipped up another one of those sago dessert variaties. Honeydew Sago.

It was so unexpected. All I did was take the honeydew into the kitchen, and before I knew it, the honeydew was in half and I was on my way....to broadway!!! Nah, to disaster. I exagarate. There wasn't much of a disaster apart from the usual sago pearl saga...in all earnesty I'm telling you cooking sago pearls is a talent. It is not easy. I can hear it now, all the people telling me how easy they found cooking sago to be, well I'm not listening!!! In my haste I also added way too much evaporated milk, but I fixed it. It tastes good.

To all my friends (somewhere out there hopefully) this is an open invitation to please help me finish the massive pot of honeydew sago in my fridge! Just give me a call all my dear friends still schooling, you know I live a stone's throw away from AC.
