All melbournians have to either be by the beach, in a pool, making use of free aircon in random shops or, very unfortunately stuck in some public transport stuff up due to FORTY THREE DEGREE weather. Sigh, my face is so red.

You know, I'm starting to feel guilty for not paying the fares nowadays? I've been paying more regularly than not, and even validating my two hour ticket twice sometimes when I head to Glen. WOW!

There're free tram/train/bus services tomorrow though, to make up for like 200 odd train cancellations(don't quote me on this, I have a tendency to make up my own statistics based on shallow knowledge probably acquired from a chance hearing of ABC news or something, crap is the channel even called ABC???) each day for the past few sweltering hot days. It's a massive heat wave like no other. Free public transport so timely, I have to head to uni tomorrow morning at an unearthly hour, so I can just catch a tram instead of walking. Brilliant.

But I willingly walked instead of taking the tram today. It's seriously stuffy in the non-airconditioned trams. The seats are really warm, and so are the handle bars which are made of metal, it was a challenge to grip onto them.

Oh a super cool fun fact. I saw this on the news (yeah another chance hearing lol), you know if you throw an ice popsicle on the pavement, it just...disappears? That's how hot it is. When I leaned against a wall(?) made of metal today my nerves did a reflex. I felt fried.

Oh, to add on to the fun fact, also heard on the news, you can fry an egg on the roof of a car in the sun. It takes a while though.

Went back to Taylors earlier with Dom, met Kauth, Elif, Hayley...that's about it...plus, taylors looks like some kind of health institution now, the walls are this yucky greyish white, and then there's some random purplish pink, which is really really yuck. You get the biggest shock when you first step out the lift, because the white just smacks you in the face. It used to be reddish orangey with cool patterns in white and i don't know, can't really remember now. Scary.

Working at Crown this sunday. Well, not at Crown, but just outside it. It sounds more cool when I say Crown though doesn't it. Hope it wouldn't be 40 degree weather, it'll be terrrrrribbblllleeee to stand for six hours in that heat.
